M3.4.3 Rights and Responsibilities (Part 3 of 4)
Rights are usually associated with responsibilities; in fact, being allowed to exercise the right usually depends on meeting the responsibility (think about a house sale). The Articles of the Treaty explicitly state the rights conferred on each party while the corresponding responsibilities for both parties are implied. Can you correctly allocate the following rights and responsibilities conferred by each article of the Treaty to Hapū / Māori in one column and the British Crown in the other?
